The nationwide school tour 'Town Bastards' kicked off at the end of August. The following four months offers 15 concerts around the country. Girls in Airports paid a visit to Krogerup College in North Zealand last tuesday night.

Programmet for dette års Summer Session på Vallekilde Højskole er nu endelig klar. Med et program, der byder på et uhørt antal internationale topnavne, vil stævnet være et af sommerens store højdepunkter for alla jazzmusikere. Så skynd dig - tilmeldingen er begyndt!

The Keep an Eye Summer Jazz Workshop is looking for participants for their upcoming workshop. The workshop, takes place from the 25th to 29th of June, is an ideal opportunity to get in touch with other musicians from all over the world and be taught by some of the best teachers around.

Boston trio The Fringe is the first name to be confirmed for Summer Session at Vallekilde school from 5th - 12th August 2012. The trio consists of saxophonist George Garzone, the drummer Bob Gullotti and bassist John Lockwood and these 3 jazz giants - this year celebrating their 40-year anniversary as a trio - will be the first ever to teach at the Summer Session as a full band.

JazzDanmark calls for all jazz-related bands that are interested in playing at SPOT Festival on the 4 and 5th of May to apply. Deadline for application is 13th February 2012.
