Ung Jazz (Young Jazz in Denmark)

Young Jazz in Denmark is a talent competition for young jazz orchestras. The competition has developed throughout the past 10 years, to become an immensely important launch pad for the young Danish jazz scene.

Each year between 10 and 20 orchestras from all over Denmark sign up, and the lucky (or talented!) winner is secured a place in the finals for the nordic competition Young Nordic Jazz Comets, held each year in a Nordic capital.
