It is now possible to apply for Børnejazzprisen 2026, a grant of DKK 30,000 awarded at Tivoli Jazzpris in Glassalen at Tivoli on 26 August. The grant is funded by Gangstedfonden and awarded by Jazz Danmark.

A tribute to those shaping the next generations of jazz listeners

Børnejazzprisen celebrates professional jazz musicians who create music specifically for younger audiences and contribute to strengthening the connection between children and jazz music. The recipient of the grant is selected by a committee appointed by Jazz Danmark.

The award was traditionally presented in connection with DMA Jazz, but since 2024 Børnejazzprisen has been part of Tivoli Jazzpris. At the same time, the award has been converted into a grant of DKK 30,000.

Who can apply?

Professional jazz musicians and projects working artistically with jazz for children and young people are eligible to apply for Børnejazzprisen 2026.

Tivoli Jazzpris 2026 brings together a number of Danish jazz grants and awards each year in one shared celebration at Glassalen in Tivoli.
