On 26 August, the iconic Glassalen will be filled with Danish jazz and scholarship awards. Get your ticket now!
At Tivoli Jazz Prize, the musicians of the Danish jazz scene are celebrated. A number of awards, each accompanied by a grant, will be presented, and every award recipient can be experienced live in collaboration with a jazz orchestra assembled especially for the occasion and led by Tivoli’s musical director Peter Jensen.
The awards and recipients will be revealed later, but it is guaranteed to be a beautiful evening in Glassalen, where jazz music will be honoured and celebrated in magnificent surroundings. You can already secure your ticket for the evening here.
Naya Buric returns as host
Naya Buric returns in top form as host of Tivoli Jazz Prize for the fourth time. Naya has a unique ability to bring jazz vividly beyond the edge of the stage with her captivating stories about the music and the award recipients.
Naya Buric, who is currently Head of Music and radio host at DR P8 Jazz, has cemented her position as one of Denmark’s most prominent jazz communicators. Her skills as a host and presenter have, among other things, resulted in the award-winning podcast “Uden Sidestykke”, which at Prix Audio was named Music Programme of the Year.
