Denmark is strongly represented at jazzahead!

Tomorrow, jazzahead! 2024 kicks off with a strong Danish presence.

When jazzahead! starts tomorrow, the Danish stand will, as usual, be one of the largest at the fair. Around 80 people with connections to the Danish jazz scene will be attending the event, and five Danish bands will perform. JazzDanmark’s Danish Clubnight will feature the Kristin Korb Trio, OTOOTO, and Nana Rashid. Kemaca and Girls in Airports will play at showcases organized by Berthold Records and Soundsgood Music Agency, respectively.

Networking opportunities and participation in panels

The Danish stand serves as a reliable hub in the overwhelming maze of the fair, offering plenty of opportunities to support networking. On Friday and Saturday mornings, we’ll start the day with Coffee & Connect, where Danish participants can check in with each other and JazzDanmark’s secretariat or use the occasion to invite new international contacts for a coffee meeting. Nordic at Noon Networking Hour will foster stronger connections among Nordic participants. Additionally, the stand will offer after-work beers on Friday and the Danish Networking Hour on Saturday, where new and old contacts can enjoy a refreshing drink, with or without alcohol.
