• Transport from Denmark to Abroad and Abroad to Denmark
• Subsidy for local transport is only provided for local transport abroad.
• The subsidy covers transport related to activities that promote jazz in Denmark or Danish jazz abroad (such as concerts, collaborations, networking activities, journalistic assignments, management work, studio work, etc.).
• If you wish to apply for funding for a project spread over multiple periods, which is not part of a continuous tour/project, we encourage you to submit an application for each distinct time period.
• It is possible to submit more than one application for the same deadline.

• Creative and performing artists, music promoters, agents, and others with a travel purpose that promotes jazz in Denmark or Danish jazz abroad.
• Note: It is a requirement that only individuals or institutions with a NemKonto can apply.

• Local Transport in Denmark

• Projects that have already started or been completed by the time the application is submitted
• Hotel Accommodation
• Per Diems
• Study Trips Abroad
• Expenses for Recording Projects – studio rental, producer fees, etc.
• Marketing and PR
• Participation Fees for Seminars, Courses, and Competitions
• Operating-supported ensembles and dissemination institutions, etc., cannot apply.

An applicant cannot apply to multiple genre organizations for the same project. If your project/music falls under multiple genres, you must choose one genre organization and apply there. The other three genre organizations are ROSA, Tempi, and Art Music Denmark. If you apply to multiple genre organizations with the same project, all applications will be administratively rejected.

• For driving your own car, you can apply for a subsidy for international transport expenses using the government’s low rate for driving abroad. This rate covers fuel and other car-related expenses.
• § 16. Driving Abroad: DKK 2.23 per km
• You can read more about the rate and transport allowances for driving a private car abroad here (in Danish).
• When driving your own car, receipts for fuel purchases and expenses for tolls, etc., must be submitted.
• For driving a rented car, receipts for the rental, rental period, and fuel purchases must be provided.

• If your project is granted funding, you will receive an approval letter in GrantOne.
• The subsidy will be paid out after the completion of the project, and once a complete report, including supporting documents, has been submitted in GrantOne no later than 1 month after the project’s conclusion.
• Please note that the granted subsidy will be adjusted based on the actual transport expenses, within the approved amount.
• The subsidy can only be paid out to the NemKonto associated with the application.
• You will receive the payment within 6 weeks after the approved report.
• The funding will be reported as B-income (non-AM taxable/box 38) to the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT) at the time of payment.

• Reports are only accepted via the reporting forms—i.e., you cannot send attachments or submit reports via email or the application system’s email function.
• Reports are processed every Wednesday.

• If your project is not granted funding, you will receive a rejection letter in GrantOne.
• Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide further details regarding the rejections.
