Kresten Osgood sets the beat for the DMA Jazz afterparty

Get ready for a spectacular celebration at Ideal Bar on December 2 filled with jam sessions, DJs, and dancing until the early hours.

As tradition dictates, the Danish Music Awards Jazz 2025 concludes with a grand afterparty for all ticket holders. Look forward to an unforgettable night at Ideal Bar led by Kresten Osgood on December 2, featuring jam sessions, DJs, and endless dancing. The afterparty is presented in collaboration with The Orchard.

Concerts, jams, and DJ sets merge together

If you know Kresten Osgood – multi-instrumentalist, composer, bandleader, podcast host, and lecturer – you know he always turns expectations upside down. That’s why this year’s afterparty will be anything but ordinary.

Osgood has dug deep into Jazz Danmark’s own record collection and promises a DJ set packed with rare Danish jazz gems, interspersed with spontaneous jam sessions and live performances. We guarantee an evening that will be fun, vibrant, musical – and, of course, completely unpredictable.

The afterparty takes place at Ideal Bar once the DMA Jazz show in Store VEGA wraps up – around 10:00 PM.

Join the biggest jazz party of the year!

For the third consecutive year, the Danish Music Awards Jazz will take over VEGA with an unforgettable show filled with award presentations and unique live performances. Expect an evening of music, celebration, and joy in the iconic concert hall, Store VEGA.

The evening’s host, jazz singer and composer Alice Carreri, will guide the audience through the award presentations, speeches, and live performances featuring Tabloid, Sophisticated Ladies & Kaare Munkholm, Lotte Anker & Blowout Now, and Casper Hejlesen. Jazz industry and networking day

Earlier in the day, Jazz Danmark invites everyone to the industry and networking event Jazz+ in Lille VEGA. Here, there will be ample opportunity for networking, conversations, and fresh ideas and visions for the Danish jazz scene. Read more and register here.
