Merry Christmas and a jazzy new year from Jazz Danmark
Jazz Danmark’s secretariat sends a Christmas greeting to all musicians, partners, funders, and others with whom we have worked or been in contact throughout 2025.
Jazz Danmark’s secretariat sends a Christmas greeting to all musicians, partners, funders, and others with whom we have worked or been in contact throughout 2025.
The year at Jazz Danmark has been filled with development, dialogue, and networking with all our valued partners—and, of course, many great experiences across the music scene. For this, we would like to thank you all. We look forward to even more collaborations around jazz in the coming year.
Jazz Danmark’s secretariat will be closed from tomorrow, December 20, and will reopen on January 2.
New strategy
Our organization enters 2026 with a brand-new strategy featuring four new strategic focus areas. We look forward to working for the well-being of jazz from new perspectives and to presenting the strategy in the new year.
In memory of Marilyn Mazur
Sadly, 2025 ended with the loss of one of music’s great giants. Marilyn Mazur was an icon whose innovative works and deep musicality have left a lasting mark on Danish, Nordic, and international music and will live on through generations.
Jazz Danmark extends our warmest thoughts and deepest condolences to all of Marilyn’s loved ones. She will be greatly missed.
