Musikerstafetten is a unique opportunity for musicians to exchange experiences and share knowledge. It’s a space to connect across different backgrounds and have casual conversations about all things music-related. Does this sound like something for you? Collaboration with other musicians

The meetings in Musikerstafetten are closed group sessions where musicians can collaborate and discuss current challenges, experiences, work methods, and opportunities. JazzDanmark facilitates these meetings and contributes with both knowledge and insights from musicians’ daily lives. Each meeting includes 4-8 musicians and 1-2 representatives from JazzDanmark.

Musikerstafetten has been running since 2019, with about 8-10 meetings held annually. Most take place at JazzDanmark’s office, while some are held online via Zoom.

Even if you’ve already participated in a previous session, you’re welcome to join again.

Over 120 musicians have already participated in Musikerstafetten

JazzDanmark’s secretariat organizes the participants for each meeting. You will be contacted as soon as possible if you’re allocated a spot.

Musikerstafetten was initiated by JazzDanmark in collaboration with Danish-Norwegian jazz musician Birgitte Soojin. The program is free for musicians, though JazzDanmark does not cover transportation costs related to participation.
