Open Call: Would you like to be part of the academies for this year’s DMA Jazz?
It is now possible to nominate yourself to be part of one of the DMA Jazz academies. This year, two academies will be established: a main academy, which will award prizes for all of the year’s releases, and a live academy, which will present two new live awards

How do I apply to join an academy?
To be considered for one of the two DMA Jazz academies, you must submit an application via the link below. The deadline is Sunday, May 6, 2024, at 23:59.
If you are selected, you will receive an email with further information no later than week 24.
You may apply for both academies, but you can only be selected for one.
Who selects the academy members?
The academies are assembled by JazzDanmark’s secretariat and board. This Open Call is one of the tools we use to broaden our horizons and identify new, competent academy members. To ensure continuity in the academy’s work, 4 seats in the Main Academy and 3 seats in the Live Academy are reserved for members who have served in the DMA Jazz academies within the past 2 years.
DMA Jazz 2024 will take place on December 9, 2024, in Copenhagen, and will once again be preceded by the annual industry event, Jazz+. Follow our website and JazzDanmark’s newsletter for more information about the show, awards, program, and hosting.
