The nominations for DMA Blues 2026 are here
Here are the 16 nominees competing for this year’s four DMA Blues awards.
his year’s DMA Blues jury has explored every corner of the genre and can now present a nomination field consisting of four nominees in each of the four categories. Danish Music Awards Blues is the annual gathering point for the Danish blues community and takes place each year as part of a longstanding tradition at Ridehuset in Randers. This year’s ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 12 August.
New this year is the introduction of the Americana Award of the Year. In addition, the Jutland Blues Network will present its own Honorary Award 2026. Singer Viktoria Siff will once again guide the audience through the evening, which will feature performances by the DMA Blues house band with a rotating lineup of guest soloists, as well as the presentation of the five awards.

The DMA Blues 2026 jury was assembled through an open call and in collaboration between Tempi, JazzDanmark and ROSA. The jury consists of Thor Boding, Jacob Wandam, Charlie Tambauer, Hannah Larsen, Lea Thorlann, Fatma Zidan, Freja Kristine Veile, Klaus Knakkergaard, Sabina Smailagic, Rasmus Mogensen, Mette Fossing, Christian Borg, Jesper Sønderstrup and Flemming Grangaard.
DMA Blues 2026 is organised by Turbinen, Randers, in collaboration with Tempi, JazzDanmark, ROSA and the Jutland Blues Network, with support from Randers Festuge, the Danish Musicians’ Union (DMF) and the Danish Artists’ Union (DAF).
