The Team Behind Christiania Jazz Club & Children’s Theatre
“The team behind Christiania Jazz Club & Children’s Theatre is nominated for the P8 Jazz Prize – Enthusiast of the Year for their 30 years of fostering an intimate and inclusive jazz environment in Christiania. The six volunteers in the club organize over 100 jazz concerts annually, ensuring proper conditions, tuned pianos, clean tables, and a welcoming atmosphere. Christiania Jazz Club & Children’s Theatre is more than a venue—it’s a lifestyle driven by the passion of true enthusiasts.”
The Volunteers from Giant Steps, Svendborg

An unpaid board and approximately 25 skilled and dedicated jazz lovers ensure that around 40 concerts take place every year. The volunteers from Giant Steps exemplify the critical role enthusiasts play in enabling music communities to thrive outside major cities.”
The Young Volunteers from JazzHaus, Kolding
“The young volunteers from JazzHaus in Kolding are nominated for their tireless efforts in booking, organizing, and developing concerts aimed at younger audiences.
